This page outlines the changes we've made and how we are working to keep you safe. For an enjoyable experience, we ask all visitors to read the following information and to plan your trip in advance. Visitors are also advised to check the latest government advice at www.gov.wales before visiting the college.

The estate is open Monday to Friday from 10am–3pm, excluding Bank Holidays.

Heritage Centre and Gardens

Admission is free but you will need to book tickets in advance to guarantee entry. For your safety and the safety of our staff, timed visiting slots are in place and only a limited number of visitors are allowed in the Heritage Centre.

BCW Residences

If you wish to book a retreat with us, kindly fill the enquiry form and we'll get back to you as soon as we can. Reservations are subject to availability and only confirmed after you've received a confirmation email.

House of Prayer

Visitors are welcome to join us on Mondays as we come together for a time of prayer and worship; to seek the Lord and to dig deeper into the wells of prayer and intercession.

Getting Here

By Coach


Take the National Express to Swansea Bus Station. You can then take a taxi from the station to get to the BCW (Postal Code: SA2 8EB).




By Train


Take the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station, and thereafter take the National Rail to Swansea Train Station. You can then take a taxi from the station to get to the BCW (Postal Code: SA2 8EB).




By Car


Take the M4 towards Pen-y-Bont. At junction 42, exit onto A483 toward Swansea / Abertawe. Go through 1 roundabout and continue onto Quay Pa-rade / A4067. Turn right onto Derwen Fawr Rd / B4436.





Visitor Regulations

The safety of our guests, visitors, staff and students remains our top priority and we ask that all visitors respectfully abide by the following health and safety measures. 

We would also like to remind all visitors to check the latest government advice www.gov.wales before visiting the college.

Admission & Access

  • For your safety and the safety of our staff, timed visiting slots are now in place.

  • Admission if free, however visitors are advised to pre-book admission tickets to guarantee entry.

  • Visitors should book a visiting slot of no more than 4 other people in the group.

  • Without a valid ticket, we will have to respectfully decline your visit and entry as we can only allow a limited number of visitors in the Heritage Centre.

  • Visitors are required to download the NHS test and trace app before visiting the estate. Upon arrival, visitors will need to scan a safe-entry QR-code with the app.

  • Guests staying at the BCW Residences should confirm their check-in time (between the estate's opening hours) prior to arrival.

Guest & Visitor Facilities

  • Our restrooms will be opened for visitors throughout the duration of their visit.

  • Visitor parking is available, however visitors will need to book a parking space together with their tickets.

  • Resources are available at our Heritage Resource Centre, please approach a Staff member should you wish to make a purchase.

  • Due to sanitation measures, communal facilities and amenities at the Residences will be limited. Guests are encouraged to bring your own stationery and entertainment.

Health & Safety

  • Front of house staff and volunteers have received all necessary health and safety briefings in relation to COVID-19.

  • High touched areas will be regularly sanitised throughout the day and in between visits.

  • Visitors are required to wear face coverings when indoors, on college grounds, even if visitors have been vaccinated. We reserve the right to refuse entry to visitors who are not wearing a face covering without due cause, e.g. health and wellbeing reasons.

  • Visitors are reminded to keep a 2m social distance from those who do not belong to the same/exclusive extended household(s).

  • We have place hand sanitisers at appropriate areas to encourage all visitors to wash or sanitise their hands whenever needed or possible.

  • If you are showing any symptoms of Coronavirus or have been in contact with anyone that has had the virus in the last 14 days, we respectfully request you rearrange your visit and/or stay when you are recovered or have tested negative of COVID-19. information before visiting.

What is not allowed

  • Consumption of food & drinks are not allowed in the Heritage Centre.

  • Animals are not allowed on college grounds under any circumstance. For assistance on accessibility, please drop us a message.

  • Smoking is prohibited on-site. All visitors must refrain from smoking while in the college.

Visitor regulations may be amended from time to time and we recommend that you check back for the latest visitor information.
