Prayer Focus: Apr 2021
The shaking of nations and heavenly provisions to establish the Kingdom of God
In this hour where the Lord beckons all to come to the Desire of All Nations, the words found in “Revival Fires” becomes a resounding prayer:
Living embers, lying dormant Fan into flame revival fire again Sacred promises seek fulfilment Fan into flame revival fire again From the Pacific to Atlantic coast We need the fire of the Holy Ghost Fan into flame revival fire again Cleansing Your house with power of love Holy repentance through Your blood Fan into flame revival fire again
Scriptural Focus
Haggai 2:6-9, "For Thus says the Lord of Hosts: Once More (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry Land. And I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory says the Lord of hosts. The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine, says the Lord of Hosts. The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former says the Lord of host and in this place I will give peace says the Lord of Hosts."
We ask that the revival fires to fan aflame once again, the fire of the Holy Spirit to come cleanse, bring repentance and establish the Kingdom of God on this earth as it is in heaven.
John 14:12-14, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it."
We pray that Christ’s Church will rise to her position and grace to do the greater works that Christ has commissioned her to do for the glory of our GOD.
Jesus Christ, the Great Shepherd of the sheep!
Prayer for the leadership in the UK & globally – The WORD of GOD exhorts us to pray for king and all who are in authority for it is good and acceptable in the sight of GOD our Saviour who desires all men to be save and to come to the knowledge of the truth! (1 Tim 2:2-4). We bring to remembrance the national leaders globally and especially the UK.
Scriptural Focus
Hebrews 13:20, "Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen."
Psalm 67:1-2, 4, “God be merciful to us and bless us, and cause His face to shine upon us, that Your way may be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations... Oh, let the nations be glad and sing for joy! For You shall judge the people righteously, And govern the nations on earth."
We pray for the Lord Jesus, the Great Shepherd, to complete every good work in our leaders that they might find favour and grace to lead the nation in godly righteousness.
That Kingdom ways will be made known and established in the earth.
Psalm 23, “The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall not want..”
Psalm 71:1-3, “In You, Lord, I have taken refuge, let me never be put to shame. In Your righteousness, rescue me and deliver me; turn your ear to me and save me. Be my rock of refuge, to which I can always go; give the command to save me, for You are my rock and my fortress.”
We rest in the knowledge and promise that the Great Shepherd will lead us in the paths of His kingdom righteousness for His name’s sake. We pray for His WORD and Spirit to guide us into His way of righteousness. (Psalm 119:105, 2 Corinthians 3:6)
Praying for the Lord to raise up many Shepherds ready for harvest – He is the Great Shepherd!
